"Meeting Emmett Poland was a gift from Heaven! As a single working mother of two children, there were many times I needed extra help taking care of our family dog, Prissy. Emmett made grooming and boarding her worry free. The minute she saw him at the front door, Prissy abandoned whatever she was doing, ran to him and gave him an “over the top” greeting. She would then yank him to his van—eager to begin her “slumber party at Uncle Emmett’s place.”
After 16 years, I called Emmett to tell him Prissy died. He cried with me. Even though we have not gotten another dog of our own, Emmett still checks up on Prissy’s family."
